Well - I have found that after germinating seeds in garden, things like leeks, cabbage etc. that by far the easiest way at this stage to weed them up is simply lift the seedlings, rake out the weeds and replant.
Obviously you dont want to do this too often, especially as they get bigger, but at this stage it makes a far easier job for me.

In addition, using mostly UK catalogs I have also ordered and planted gherkins, squash and mostly heritage variety carrot, parsnip, beans and peas.

I much prefer supporting small, independent and ethical companies than the big corporations.
